FILL OUT YOUR BIO (THE RIGHT WAY)
It doesn’t matter which platform or form of social media you are on, your bio should always follow these three guidelines. With Great Bios comes Great Streams!

Connect Them All!
Your online presence is spread throughout all different platforms. Ideally, you want your fans and listeners to be connecting with you every step of the way! To do this you need to link your platforms with as few clicks as possible, making it easy for them to find you!
Spotify bio: make sure to add all your social media links so they can follow you for updates. (These show on editorial playlist pitches)
Instagram: you can only add ONE link to your bio, so choose wisely. A Pre-save to your latest track is often a good idea, but make sure it contains your social channels and music platform pages.

Showman Flair
The goal is to convert any visitors into fans, and also keep your fans interested!
You can achieve both of these by showing some flair and personality in your bios. Make it interesting, make them curious to see what you have to offer! The higher their interest, the more chance you have of them clicking to listen to your music, falling in love with your sound and becoming your next biggest fan.

Make It “Searchable”
Yes, it can be fun to give yourself a funny name or use special characters in your bio, but remember… Most Platforms use your name and bio when users search for you and your music.
“#1 Rap ⭐ in LDN – Lil ❄️” may show off your character but “Lil Frost – Rap & Hip Hop – London” will make you appear much easier in the search bar! Adding keywords associated with your niche will also help. As long as those Key Words are in there you should be fine, then you are free to add all the creativity and soul you want!
